For the integration CLX will need to be remoted into your server to complete the integration. Once the integration is complete with the catalog name change, the practice will need to select the “new” products after the integration as old information/names will not transmit.


 To prepare for the integration confirm that the following items are true PRIOR to scheduling an integration:

  • Must be on exam writer (not Eyefinity). Can be cloud based.
  • Must be on version 15+
  • Integration must be done on server
  • Catalog will change!!!!! (old catalog will be deactivated NOT deleted)

3 step process (Integration, Cleanup, Training)

  • Integration takes about 1hr
  • Cleanup takes about 2hrs - does not have to be on server (MUST BE DONE AFTER PRICING IS PUT IN FOR CLX PRODUCTS IN OM). Cleanup should be scheduled close to training (within 24hrs).
  • CLX will add the CLX Order button on the Soft Contact Lens ordering screen on the server, the practice will need to do this step on all other computers.
  • If practice decides to not use CLX anymore, it is THEIR responsibility to reactivate their old catalog!
