To send your exam-only patients personalized emails and text messages with their pre-populated prescription information and a customized re-order link, go to your Patient Orders page. If the patient is already entered in CLX, you can search for them here.  If they are not yet in the system, click Create New Patient

Enter the new patient’s information and select Create Patient Account.

From here you will select the Exams tab and click Create a New Exam.



Enter the product information and parameters for both eyes and select Save Exam Only and Patient Protect. This will send a notification to the patient that it is time to reorder from your practice. If you would like to view a history of the notifications a patient has received, click the Marketing Notification History tab at the top of their profile.
