To add a patient in CLX, first click the Office on the portal as indicated on the screen below.

 

 

 

This will bring you to your Dashboard. From the Dashboard, you will need to select Patient Orders as shown below.

 

In the Patient Search screen, you may search in any of the data fields shown on top.  

  1. In the example below, we have used the patients’ last name as the search term. 
  2. Click on Search to get a list with the search results. 
  3. Then select the patient record for the patient who you wish to view by clicking on View
  4. If this is the first time you are placing an order for a patient in CLX, you will have to create a new patient record by selecting Create New Patient.

 

 

 

Once you click Create New Patient, it will bring you to the patient’s account as shown below.

From the patient’s account enter all the (required) basic information and then click Create Patient Account.


 

 

Once you select Create Patient Account you may complete the patient profile in CLX as shown below.

  1. To add the patient’s address, enter in their address and then click Add
  2. To add a patient’s phone number, enter the number and then click Add.
  3. Provides the most recent exam in CLX.
  4. Provides the most recent orders (Last 3 Shown) in CLX
  5. Once all your updates are complete, click Update Account.

*KEY REMINDER: Ensure that the patient has both a phone number and an email address in CLX. Without these two key pieces of information, CLX cannot reach out to your patients on your behalf.
